Gender Reveal

I have told Isaac since before we were married that we were going to have all girls. I can't tell you why I thought that but I just did so when we went to our 20 week anatomy sono for baby #2 I never dreamed it would be a BOY! The sonographer was scanning me and I immediately said, "Oh my, that's a penis!" I looked over at Isaac and his mouth was just hanging wide open, the sonographer even asked him a few minutes later if he was doing okay because he had not said a word by that point! Lets just say we were both SURPRISED! Baby Boy Taylor coming August 2018 :)

Well we are doing it again and we couldn't be more excited! I felt the need to take a couple tests, just to make sure! I bought a "Big Sis" shirt for Lettie to wear and when daddy came home for the weekend we surprised him!

End of Summer

How can it be? How can summer be coming to an end? Between the 8 week summer class I took and chasing a toddler around the summer just flew by! Class starts for me next week which means my life is about to become hectic and stressful. However, I am trying to look at it in a positive way... "the sooner I start the sooner May will come and the sooner I will be done" Right?! I try to be optimistic anyways. Ha. May 2018 can't come soon enough!!!!

McLean County fair is hard word for a toddler!

Grandma and Grandpa Taylor made Lettie some zucchini chocolate chip muffins and lets just say she approved! ;) 

She pulled this basket across the living room and jumped right in... she was really proud of herself and all her accomplishments! Ha 

All of a sudden Lettie looks so much like a little girl and no longer a baby and after looking at these pictures it's official. Tear. My baby isn't a baby anymore! 

Ozark Vaca

This view. I could look at it ALL day long and never get tired of it. The sound of the birds, trees, water and boats driving by is truly my heaven. It's a place that puts a smile on my face just thinking about it. I have so many wonderful memories of this place and I am so thankful for my grandparents buying it so many years ago. I am even more grateful to bring my family here and make a whole new chapter of memories. 

I was a little nervous taking the boat out just Isaac and I plus Lettie but she did great every time we docked and just sat without a peep! #boatbaby #minusthebaby

Fill up a plastic pool on the deck and give the girl a bucket and she is as happy as a clam! 

Once I was done with my summer class we headed down to the lake for a long weekend! Papa Jack was already down at the house when we got there so we got to spend some quality time with him which was nice. The weekend was full of sunshine, deck sitting, water floating and boat rides. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We visited Redheads, Captain Ron's and Frankie & Louie's while we were there. Lettie loved the beach front at Frankie & Louie's, we will definitely need to go back! I wish we could have stayed longer but the time we did get was truly amazing and just what we all needed!

Length: 34 inches = 95th percentile (grew 2 1/4 inches)

Weight: 28 lb 4 oz = 95th percentile (gained 4 lb 1 oz)

Head Circumference: 19 inches = 91st percentile

Lettie loves playing outside and asks to go outside constantly. It has made me realize this winter may be a little rough having to stay indoors! :( 

Lettie is talking up a storm and starting to put two words together. She still loves shoes and will put on anyones if they are just lying around. She has remained a good little eater and a great sleeper! (Praise the lord!) Her favorite foods are blueberries, grapes, yogurt, cheese sticks, eggs and pancakes! 

Daddy's Home

We love the weekends mostly because it means Daddy is home! We try to make the best of our time together even if it's time simply spent at home. Lettie is always so excited to see "Dada" and loves to play and giggle with him. Watching these two together makes my heart melt, I love the bond that they share!

It's safe to say that Lettie shares her Daddy's love for ice cream! She is seriously like a little bird whenever he dishes out a bowl for the two of them. Can't get enough!
