Easter 2019

We celebrated Easter with Isaac's family a week before the holiday and it SNOWED! Gotta love IL... Lettie was singing Christmas carols this morning and talking about Santa's reindeers! Oh well, we had to move the easter egg hunt inside but the kids still had so much fun!

The following Sunday we then celebrated with my family and it was gorgeous, literally could not have asked for better weather. Sunny and 80 degrees and lets just say I was not prepared as far as hats and sunscreen but thank goodness for sisters right? #momfail

Sawyer (6), Clayton (11), Jackson (4), Lettie 3, Shep (8 mo) and Oakleigh (3)!

Family Pic! #winning

Someone had the great idea to let the kids play with sidewalk chalk in the machine shed.... the pictures doesn't do it justice but Lettie's face was literally completely black!

The kids then had the great idea to get in the hot tub! Papa Jack was filling it when we first arrived so it was only at 80 degrees so it was more like a swimming pool! Aunt Brooke told me later that Lettie asked her to take this picture of her and Oakleigh... so stinking sweet these girls! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Lettie's First trip to the Dentist

Lettie had her first dentist appointment and she did absolutely awesome! No fear and she let them clean her teeth and NO cavities! Yayyy! Now we just need to start working on Lettie not sucking her thumb. We dropped "baby brother Shep" off at daycare so we got a little mommy daughter time which is rare these days so we celebrated with pancakes afterwards!

Shep's First Haircut

So yet again #momfail... I didn't get a picture of Shep actually getting his haircut because I was holding him and there was no one to take the picture but I want to make it known how well he did! Jordan even used clippers on his hair, just like she said "Might as well start him out young because he has a lot of haircuts in his future!"

This was Lettie's third hair cut and we cut off 3 inches this time and of course needed some princess curls at the end!
